(14 December 2016, Hong Kong) Landing International Development Limited (“Landing International” or the “Company”, HKEx Code: 00582) is pleased to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Landing Entertainment Korea Co., Ltd (“LEK”) (previously known as Grand Express Korea Co., Ltd), which owns Landing Casino, a distinguished casino gaming club in Hyatt Regency Jeju Hotel in Jeju, Korea, is ranked first in the 2016 Anti-Money Laundering (“AML”) Assessment of 17 casinos in Korea conducted by the Korea Financial Intelligence Unit (“KoFIU”). This is the second consecutive year that LEK has topped the ranking after it was also ranked first in the 2015 AML assessment by KoFIU.

The Governor of Jeju, Mr Hee-Ryong Won has been putting in great efforts to establish casino regulations of global standards in Jeju, by strengthening the operations of its Casino Regulation Division, revising relevant ordinances and regulations, and forming the Jeju Casino Supervisory Committee. The achievement of Landing Casino is a testimony of their continuous efforts to ensure transparent operations and enforce the introduction of international compliance standards and practices in the casino industry in Jeju.
