Landing’s Myths-History Park Resort Condominium Project Achieved Subscription of 447 Units at RMB2.58 Billion in Initial Launch

(18 April 2016, Hong Kong) Landing International Development Limited (“Landing International” or the “Company”, HKEx Code: 00582) is pleased to announce that its world-class Myths-History Park integrated resort in Jeju, Korea launched the initial subscription of its resort condominium project on 16 April 2016. Among the 721 high-end resort units, 447 have been successfully subscribed at a total amount of RMB2.58 billion, hitting a subscription record for properties of the same kind among leisure and cultural facilities in Jeju.

The world-class Myths-History Park integrated resort is jointly developed by Landing Jeju Development Co., Ltd., a joint venture between Landing International and Genting Singapore PLC (“Genting Singapore, SGX Code: G13”). Spanning across a land area of approximately 2.5 million square metres, the resort houses a family theme park, premium hotels, adventure waterpark and meeting and conference facilities. In addition, there are resort condominium projects located in zones R and H, offering approximately 1,500 luxury resort apartments and villas which are just a few minutes' drive from the global Education City with a number of top-branded international universities. Investment immigration is available for the resort condominium projects, in which the purchasers are eligible for applying for permanent residency in Korea according to local legislation.

The initial pre-sales ceremony was held at Seogwipo-si in Jeju. Apart from the 600 VIPs who had already subscribed for the resort condominium project, hundreds of guests from all over the world participated in the ceremony. The 721 high-end units launched included 658 resort apartments and 63 villas, accounting for approximately half of the total of 1,500 units. All subscribed units are furnished with area ranging from 154 square metres to 1,221 square metres. Comprehensive project planning was carried out to ensure strict protection of native forest areas in the development process, creating a world-class leisure resort through an innovative integration of elements of entertainment, lifestyle, leisure, education, investment and shopping. As of the end of 2015, 70% to 80% of the construction work of resort apartments and villas located in zone R has been completed. Interior decoration has been initially commenced with target completion slated in the beginning of 2017. Actual completion date will be subject to progress of the construction, market conditions and other factors.

About Myths-History Park

The world-class Myths-History Park integrated resort is jointly developed by Landing Jeju Development Co., Ltd., a joint venture between Landing International and Genting Singapore PLC (“Genting Singapore, SGX Code: G13”), and is expected to be one of the largest integrated resorts in South Korea. Spanning across a land area of approximately 2.5 million square metres, the project is slated to open progressively from 2017. Myths-History Park will house Jeju’s largest family theme park offering more than 20 rides and attractions in 7 different zones themed after myths and legends from all over the world, as well as Jeju’s largest adventure waterpark and one of Korea’s most exciting themed retail and food complexes. Its premium hotels will have more than 2,000 rooms, luxury villas, Jeju Island’s first 6-star hotel and a destination spa center. The hotels are equipped with full meeting and conference facilities that are suitable for hosting regional and international meetings, incentives, conventions and events (MICE). In addition, there will be gaming entertainment; cultural facilities, leisure and entertainment amenities, as well as approximately 1,500 luxury resort apartments and villas. The entire development is expected to be completed by 2019. The project has been designated as “Foreign Investment Zone” under the Foreign Investment Promotion Law in Korea and is eligible for multiple tax relief benefits.
